„Picnic with Comenius”
Children from Kindergarten "Under the Poplars"
in Poznan participate in the Comenius program. Every child in Kindergarten No.
71 "Under the Poplars" knows that the 9th of May is the day the
European Union. The building of our Kindergarten had the flag of the European
Union next to the door, in the hall appeared the newsletter informing about the
event. We had the honor of hosting in our Kindergarten friends from
Kindergarten No. 86 "Rainbow World", Kindergarten No. 96
"Jarzębinka" Kindergarten No. 30 "Little Olympian" and
Kindergarten No. 77 "Beads" in the celebration of the Europe Day. In
the scenery of European posters began children sang the anthem of the European
Union "Ode to Joy". The choir of preschoolers sounded beautiful. Next,
the short test about the knowledge of the European Union all preschoolers have
passed easily. Then each kindergarten presented the canon "Brother
John" in various European languages. We could hear the singing from the
Eiffel Tower, the stadium in Barcelona, at the Coliseum in Rome, Italian
sounded extremely charming, German sounded very expressive and important.
Children from Kindergarten "Under the Poplars" in T-shirts with the
logo of the project sang a canon in the languages of their partners from Turkey and Finland. At
the end children sand in English and Polish. Local community invited to the
European Festival was having a fun. Each team in appreciation for their
participation received from the Council and the Headmistress of Kindergarten
No. 71 "Under the Poplars" medals, statues and symbol of the European
Union

Little Europeans were invited to the European cinema
"Under the Poplars" the fairy tales from the repertoire of the
partners of "Our small, the great motherland" project. The repertoire
was a fairy tale: "Moomin" - Finnish fairy tale, "Lamp of
Aladdin" - a fairy tale Turkish and "Bolek i Lolek" - a fairy
tale Poland. Children from Poznan, with the leadership of Kindergarten
"Under the Poplars" celebrated in the European day „Picnic with
Comenius".
