From 20 to
24 of March 2013 we hosted in Poznań, Poland, in Kindergarten
"Pod Topola" our European partners of the project - the directors and teachers
from Turkey and Finland.

Children,
teachers and nursery workers are preparing for a formal guests welcome.
Partners came to Poznań on Wednesday, 20 of March 2013. On Thursday 21 of March
2013, in the morning, guests have visited our nursery school. Children in
T-shirts with the proposition of design of logo welcomed them with bread and
salt - with an old Polish custom. Despite snowing weather outside the windows,
in Kindergarten "Pod Topola" spring decor and mood. The guests were
welcomed by the director of kindergarten Marzenna Bolińska, reminding the long
road leading us to the approval by the National Agency. Children from
Kindergarten "Pod Topola" presented the guests the city of Poznań,
Poland, and the spring and Easter traditions in songs and dances. The great surprise
for guests was the Turkish dance - damat halayi - performed by children and
Finnish Jenka danced by teachers of the Nursery School "Pod Topola".
The dances eagerly joined teachers from partner kindergartens. The artistic
part was completed by canon "Brother John" in Polish, English,
Finnish and Turkish.
Invited
guests: Honorary Consul General of Turkey, Chairman of the City of Poznan,
Poznan City councilors, representatives from the Department of Education and
the Department of Education of the City of Poznan, heads of schools and other
kindergartens of Jeżyce , representatives from the Council Estate Jeżyce,
police officers from the Police Station Poznan Jeżyce, Parent Council of Kindergarten
No. 71 "Pod Topola" in Poznan, they all rewarded children with thunderous applause for its
dynamic performance and European art. In commemoration of the meeting, each of
the guests received a commemorative edition magazine "Tup, tup, tup ...
pod Topola" and spring gifts, made by children. After the guests watched
the artistic exhibition - "Kindergarten" Pod Topola" in the
Comenius project", and then went to the traditional, Poznan refreshments.
In the
afternoon, a meeting took place. During the meeting the logo design was chosen.
The biggest amount of points received the Polish proposition. Partners agreed
that in Finland all partners will be wearing t-shirts with the logo design.
Finland also presented its role in Turkish month, in the form of presentations
and video.
Then the
guests were invited to the Kindergarten No. 86 "Rainbow World" to see
the show and songs related to the tradition of Poznań and Wielkopolska. Guests
got small gifts made by preschoolers.
In the
evening all the guests and teachers of the Kindergarten No. 71 "Pod Topola"
in Poznan viewed Verdi's opera Nabucco.
On Friday,
22 of March 2013, the children of group IV and guests visit the city of Poznan by
historic tram. The greatest joy made goats at the City Hall at noon. Then the
guests watched a multimedia show about the history of City of Poznan on the
hill of Przemysl.
23 of March
2013 in the morning, the guests visited the Green House, and then in
Kindergarten "Pod Topola" was meeting and teamwork.
We were
creating new pages of our glossary. We presented our idea to the menu book. We
talked about the aims for the months April, May and June. The meeting ended
with the awarding of certificates to all participants in the project. In the
afternoon, guests went for a walk over Malta.
At the end
of guests' stay in Poland the evening of memories took place - presentation of
"Turkey-Turgutlu 2012" was shown. The partners learned the song - the
anthem of Kindergarten "Pod Topola" and performed the canon of
"Brother John" in English, Turkish, Finnish and Polish. We all confirmed
a visit to Finland from 5 to 9 of June 2013. Partners agreed that the next
visit will be in 2014: in January in Finland, in March in Turkey, in June in
Poland.
Visit partners
in Poland passed very fast. It was intensive and interesting. I'm sure everyone
will remember it for a very long time!
